It was a beautiful sunny day in Denver, Colorado. More than anything else in the world, Mark Smith, age 4, wanted to be outside playing with Steve, Tracy and Aunt Susan. But today was a school day, and Mark was in his classroom.

"Today, I'd like you to write a report on what you want to be when you grow up," the teacher told the class. "Perhaps some of you will want to become a teacher just like me."

Mark chewed on his pencil as he thought about all the different careers to choose from.

"I love music. It might be fun to play the piano or be a dancer when I grow up," thought Mark. "It would be great to perform on a stage in front of an audience. Or maybe I could be a painter and work from my own studio."

Just then Mark remembered a western movie he had seen on TV last night. "Oooh, that would be a great job," said Mark quietly to himself. "It would be so much fun--working on a farm, being outdoors all the time, milking the cows, riding horses and roping calves."

"Wait a minute," Mark suddenly realized. "Maybe I could work in an office on a computer or become an architect and design a cool house for Steve, Tracy and Aunt Susan."

Mark thought for a moment, "I could even make drawings on a computer."
